Do kayaks need to be registered in maryland?

Planning on going to a local lake and potential venture into a river eventually. Do the kayaks need to be licensed prior to the trip? Other restrictions?|||i kayaked last year along the maryland w.va border. my kayak is registered in Georgia, wasn't an issue at all.
