Inexpensive kayaks have a short life and often are poorly designed and made. Try the library or book shop for books about kayaking. Inquire at the National office for kayaking. ACA or BCU in the USA or UK, You also could investigate kayak schools. Tandem kayaking is much more difficult solo boating!
