all reviews including price appreciated. looking for a 2 person kayak for rivers, lakes, ocean under $600. currently looking at the Sea Eagle Pro 330 and Stearns IK-140 B501. Both go for around $300 each.|||Hi, I have a stearns ik 140 , i use it for sea fishing %26amp; exploring inacessable coves etc, its very stable (can even stand up for a stretch) %26amp; tracks very nicely when blown up hard. ok with 2 people in, but much better with one. a bit tricky keeping the nose out of the water(pearling) on the way in if there's a swell running,2ft+.
Lots of space for you're gear %26amp; easy to paddle. i have scraped the bottom on sharp reef before now %26amp; got away with it too. needs a good freshwater rinse now %26amp; then %26amp; needs to be bone dry if put away for any duration. if you get caught out, you can always deflate %26amp; get the bus home! i really recomend it. you'll have a lot of fun/pleasure from it.
