Spray decks on different kayaks?

I have had quite a bit of kayaking lessons, and i now have the money to buy all the equiment but i find it difficult to research it; but can sports kayak spraydeck fit ANY sports kayak?

Answer, no! Think about it. Cockpits vary in both length and width. The cover can be made of many materials. Some of them can be stretched to fit an opening and also may be snugged up to fit a smaller one. Note too, covers come in many weights. Inquire at the manufacturer about recommendations. The shop you buy a boat from should also be able to outfit you with a good fitting cover. Don't buy a cover unless the site will allow you to return it if it doesn't fit. Also, be sure the cover opening is the right size for you (waist size).Spray decks on different kayaks?
